Program:
9:00 – 9:20am	Greeting and Opening Remarks - Cheri Stewart, WSNF Board President
9:20 – 10:20am	Everyone is Unique: Variability, Social Interactions, and Self-perception in NF Vincent Riccardi, MD, MBA, Director of the Neurofibromatosis Institute, Inc.; Professor of Pediatrics, University of California, Los Angeles; President of American Medical Consumers
10:20 - 10:40am	BREAK Coffee and Refreshments will be provided in the Wright Auditorium atrium.
10:40 - 11:00am	Bones and NF: Ongoing Studies Patricia Birch, MSc, Research Scientist, The Laboratory of Dr. Jan Friedman, University of British Columbia
11:00 - 12::00pm	Adult Issues of NF1 and NF2 Maciej Mrugala, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurology, Division of Neuro-Oncology, University of Washington Medical Center
12:00-12:30pm	Panel Discussion Q&A An opportunity for families and providers to ask questions about issues that affect adults and children with NF. The panel is composed of the above speakers and: Nuhad Dinno, MD, Emeritus Clinical Professor, formerly at the Center on Human Development and Disability, University of Washington Medical Center; WSNF Medical Advisory Board Member Moderator: Darci Sternen, MS, CGC
12:30pm -1:15pm	Lunch Get to know other members of the NF Community!

Children are welcome to attend the symposium. There is NO Charge for any part of the event, including lunch.

Driving Directions to Children’s:

From the North:
Take I-5 South to exit #169, NE 45th Street. Turn left (east) at the stoplight onto NE 45th Street. After passing the University of Washington, at the bottom of the hill, turn left at the stoplight and continue on NE 45th Street. NE 45th Street will turn into Sand Point Way NE. Turn right at the stoplight onto Children's campus.

From the South:
Take I-5 North to exit #169, NE 45th Street. Stay in the right lane. Turn right at the stoplight onto NE 45th Street. After passing the University of Washington, at the bottom of the hill, turn left at the stoplight and continue on NE 45th Street. NE 45th Street will turn into Sand Point Way NE. Turn right at the stoplight onto Children's campus.

From the Eastside (Hwy 520):
Take 520 west over the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge. Take the Montlake Exit (north) for 1.1 miles. Bear right onto 45th Street. NE 45th Street will turn into Sand Point Way NE. Turn right at the stoplight onto Children's campus.

Once you get to Children’s:
Drive up the campus driveway (Penny Lane.) Take a left into the first parking lot, the Giraffe Lot. Walk out of the lot toward the Giraffe Entrance. A greeter at the desk inside this entrance can point you toward the Wright Auditorium. Parking is free of charge.
