About Neurofibromatosis:
For most of us, Neurofibromatosis is a new medical disorder. Something we have never heard much about. But for some very special individuals, it's a part of their everyday lives. It affects them and their families in numerous ways; including verbal/non-verbal learning disabilities, vision impairment, and hearing loss. Because tumors can grow on nerves anywhere in their bodies, at any age, living with NF can be a struggle every day & the future can be scary. Numerous medical treatments & surgeries can be part of living with NF, as can significant developmental disabilities. No matter what age, NF affects many people…….and they need your help. |
